HP Officejet Pro 9010 Setup Guidance

                    The HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 setup is an all-in-one machine. The printer is engineered specifically for small businesses for amazing professional prints with photo-finish quality. The print speed is a staggering 24 pages per minute for black and up to 20 pages per minute for color. The printer works with HP-supported high-yield cartridges. With the compact touchscreen, users can find it easy to perform the tasks the printer supports.

  • If you want to perform the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 first-time printer setup, there are two setup procedures you need to follow. The printer hardware setup and the software setup are important.

Software setup
  • Download HP Smart.
  • Run the installation for the application.
  • Click the + printer option to add the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer to HP Smart.
  • Add the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer to the HP Smart app and follow the on-screen commands; complete the full setup.

 

 

Hardware setup

  • Unbox the printer and place it on a flat surface, preferably close to the computer.
  • Remove the protective tapes surrounding the printer body.
  • Open the scanner glass cover and remove the protective sheet covering the glass.
  • Remove the power cord from the package, connect it to the power source and to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.
  • When the control panel lights up, select the language.
  • Open the scanning unit to install the ink cartridges; unpack the cartridges from the cover.
  • Keep the cartridge straight and gently push it into its slot until you hear the click sound; repeat the same step for the other 3 ink cartridges (the colors in order are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black).
  • Open the paper tray from the front of the printer.
  • Move the paper guide inside the printer to either side.
  • Place the paper stack into the paper tray, adjust the paper guides according to the edges of the paper. Pull the paper support tray.
  • If the phone cord is provided with the HP printer, connect it to the phone wall jack and the LINE port of the printer if you want the printer to do faxing jobs.
